Whidbey Island Horse Trials Volunteer Opportunities
Thank you for volunteering! Our small army of generous volunteers make this event possible. We need help ahead of the event setting up venues and during the event managing logistics of seeing several hundred competitors through the three phases of competition.

It takes organization to get 2-300 riders through their dressage tests on Friday. We need ring stewards, scribes, and bit checkers on Friday! Sign up via the e-mail link above ("contact us").
Cross Country Jump Judges - Friday and Saturday
Considered to be the most exciting phase of eventing, the cross-country jumping phase requires many volunteers to judge at each jump. Training is provided Thursday evening - volunteer judges are needed for Friday afternoon and Saturday. You can volunteer for a few hours or all day - - other volunteer jobs on during the Cross-Country phase include timers and safety watch/crowd control. Show Jumping and Awards - Sunday
Volunteer jobs on the final day of competition include Gate Stewards, Timers, Jump Crews, Runners, and Helping with Awards.
